If you have been following the Giro d’Italia you will have
noticed that the race went over the Col d’Agnel over the
weekend. At 2744m high and with a 50km ascent this is quite
probably the most epic climb on any of our tours…

Join us for our last tour of the 2016 Season and limited to just
8 cyclist

Overview

Tour Itinerary

  • Saturday – Arrive from 4PM
  • Sunday – Alpe d’Huez and the Col de Sarenne plus a little hidden extra (80KM taking in part of the 2014 Tour de France)
  • Monday – Bourg d’Oisans to Briancon over the Col du Lautaret and a detour to the Col
    du Galibier
     (90KM)
  • Tuesday – Briancon to Pinerolo via the Col de Montgenvre (Italian border) and and the Colle di Sestriere (90km)
  • Wednesday – Free day in Pinerolo. An optional light 30km flat ride in the morning or spend the day at the hotel pool or browsing the shops in the town centre
  • Thursday – This is the big day over the Col d’Agnel (at 2744m above sea level) the highest border crossing in Europe and down to our base in the pretty mountain village of
    Molines en Queyras. 110km. Bring a packed lunch as we will be stopping on the way up the Col d’Agnel to eat. Lunch can be bought at the supermarket in Pinerolo on Wednesday.
  • Friday – The final day sees us drop down to the base of the Col d’Izoard before climbing this and then the Col du Lautaret before heading back to Bourg d’Oisans. (100KM)
  • Saturday – Depart by 10AM
